Hello and Welcome,
I am Arnold Yasin Mol and am president of the Scientific Bureau of the Dutch Muslim Party.
Muslims are now some decades part of Dutch society, the first generations were brought here to help rebuild our country.
From dikes to buildings, in almost every province they were deployed and have contributed to what the Netherlands is now; a modern country with good infrastructure and housing.
Now we are several generations later, and the immigrant children and grandchildren are completely part of Dutch society. They grow up with the same cartoons, freedom, education and ambitions as any other Dutch person.
The first generations hoped to return to their homeland, but to stay was the only option for a better future for their children. Besides these, there are many people who became Muslim. And this is why it is important for Muslims in the Netherlands to have their own voice in politics.
A voice which displays their interests, their dreams, their future and their ethics. That clearly states that Muslims are not terrorists or medieval barbarians, but want to live in harmony and contribute to a good future for everyone.
Islamic ideas that help contribute for a better world, precisely because Islam calls for peace. Not through oppression as it is unfortunately often assumed, but through dialogue and cooperation.
Defending human rights and democracy are important elements of Islamic thought, and we as Muslims are required to contribute positively to the society in which we live in. We are told to be like Joseph, who respected the government of his country and took care his fellow residents had a better life.
The aim of the Dutch Muslim Party is to express the positive voice of Muslims in the Netherlands to make this beautiful country more magnificent, and thus create a better relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims. With this party program we try in the best way to let this voice to be heard, to show the good we stand for.
We call for fair trade, more civil participation in the Netherlands, more focus on education, more diplomacy and less military operations with other countries, more opportunities and participation for the youth, taking into account the values of other cultures because the multicultural society is a wonderful thing, an important social role for the elderly, a better future for everyone.

Goedendag en Welkom,
Ik ben Arnold Yasin Mol en ben voorzitter van het Wetenschappelijk Bureau van de Nederlandse Moslim Partij.
Moslims zijn nu enige decennia onderdeel van de Nederlandse maatschappij, de eerste generaties zijn hier naar toe gehaald om ons land mee te helpen opbouwen.
Van dijken tot gebouwen, in bijna elke provincie zijn zij ingezet en hebben bijgedragen aan tot wat Nederland nu is, een modern land met een goede infrastructuur en woongelegenheid.
Nu zijn wij enkele generaties verder, en zijn de kinderen en kleinkinderen compleet onderdeel van de Nederlandse maatschappij. Zij groeien op met dezelfde tekenfilms, vrijheid, opleidingen en ambities als alle andere Nederlanders.
De eerste generaties hoopten terug te keren naar hun geboorteland, maar uiteindelijk was blijven de enige optie voor een betere toekomst voor hun kinderen. Naast deze mensen zijn er nu ook vele die Moslim worden. En daarom is het belangrijk voor de Moslims in Nederland om een eigen stem te hebben in de politiek.
Een stem die hun belangen, hun dromen, hun toekomst en hun ethiek laat horen. Die duidelijk maakt dat Moslims geen terroristen of middeleeuwse barbaren zijn, maar in harmonie willen leven en meewerken aan een goede toekomst voor iedereen.
Dat het Islamitische gedachtegoed kan bijdragen aan een betere wereld, want Islam nodigt juist uit tot vrede. Niet via onderdrukking zoals jammer genoeg vaak word verondersteld, maar via dialoog en samenwerking.
Democratie en opkomen voor mensenrechten zijn belangrijke onderdelen van het Islamitisch denken, en wij als Moslims zijn verplicht positief bij te dragen aan de samenleving waarin wij wonen. Wij worden opgedragen te zijn als Jozef, die de regering van zijn land respecteerde en er voor zorgde dat zijn medebewoners een beter leven hadden.
Het doel van de Nederlandse Moslim Partij is dus ook de positieve stem van Moslims in Nederland te uiten om dit mooie land nog prachtiger te maken, en hiermee een betere relatie te creëren tussen Moslims en niet-Moslims. Met dit partijprogramma proberen wij deze stem op de beste manier te laten horen, het goede waar wij voor staan te laten zien.
Wij roepen op tot eerlijke handel, meer burgerparticipatie in het besturen van Nederland, beter gericht onderwijs, minder militaire handelingen en meer diplomatie met andere landen, meer mogelijkheden en zeggenschap voor de jeugd, rekening houden met de normen en waarden van andere culturen want de multiculturele samenleving is een prachtig iets, een belangrijke sociale rol voor ouderen, een betere toekomst voor iedereen.
